"Courage" is a 30" x 30" painting on canvas.

Camp Courage is Calm Waters’ one-day art therapy camp for Oklahoma children who have experienced a loss through death or are anticipating the death of a loved one.

Each camper chose a color to represent their grief, and with the guidance of a local artist, they translated their emotions to the canvas. 

From sorrow and anger to hope, confusion, and remembrance. This piece facilitated a tangible example of how Camp Courage allows creativity to meet hope.
